As the Minister for Education just explained, we're investing almost $30 billion extra in education in state schools. We're investing in non-state schools, in independent schools, in Catholic schools. We're investing, at record levels, in education in schools all around the country, because we're running a strong economy and we're running a strong budget.

The Labor Party can make all the pie-in-the-sky promises they like, but the Australian people know that they can't trust this Leader of the Australian Labor Party to run a budget or run the economy. If you can't run an economy and if you can't run a budget, which the Labor Party showed last time they were in office, then you can't keep your promises when it comes to funding schools.

Our government will continue to provide parents with the choice that they deserve and students with the education that they deserve, and we will continue to fund all schools at record levels. The Labor Party will continue to lie about these things. We'll continue to fund these things.
