Can I bring to the attention of the House and those who are listening or watching this broadcast today that this coming week is Veterans' Health Week—from Saturday until the following weekend. It's an opportunity for all of us to encourage particularly physical health but mental health as well amongst members of the veteran community throughout Australia, their families and all of those who support them. A number of programs conducted and sponsored by the Department of Veterans' Affairs will go to the theme of next week's activities. They include the Heart Health Program, which aims to increase physical fitness; veterans will be able to be referred by their general practitioner to an exercise physiologist; and the Rehabilitation Appliances Program. These are good programs that will ensure that those who serve this country in various aspects of our military forces are provided with the best services that can be given to them in return for that wonderful service. I will be delighted to participate in the week's activities. On Saturday morning, I will take part in a Soldier On ride from their headquarters in Parkville and then, on the following Sunday, I will ride with a group of legatees.
