Customs Tariff Amendment Bill 2016; Second Reading

I rise to sum up the debate on the Customs Tariff Amendment Bill 2016. In doing so, I thank the member for Blair for his contribution. The Customs Tariff Amendment Bill 2016 contains four amendments to the Customs Act 1901. The first amendment repeals schedule 1 of the act and moves it to the Customs Tariff Regulations 2004.

enabling timelier revisions of the list of countries and places eligible for preferential rates of customs duty—for example, in response to any changes in their level of development. I am being interjected on here, Mr Speaker!
