Notwithstanding the humour at the table, this is a terrible bill. It should be shelved. That would be the ideal thing. It should be binned in the national interest. Perhaps those backbenchers from Tasmania with a memory span of a goldfish should go back and read the reports by their predecessors. They were good reports and protected the national interest.
