I have received a return to the writ which I issued on Monday 17 August 2015 for the election of a member to serve for the electoral division of Canning, in the state of Western Australia, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Donald James Randall. By the endorsement on the writ, it is certified that Andrew William Hastie has been elected.

Mr Andrew William Hastie made and subscribed the oath of allegiance.
