Melbourne is a great city, but it is a great city that is currently choking on its own traffic. Victoria is an economic powerhouse, but it needs the infrastructure of the 21st century, particularly the roads of the 21st century, if it is to grow as it should. I say to everyone who has ever been stuck in traffic on Hoddle Street, Flemington Road or Alexandra Parade—and that must be just about everyone in Melbourne: vote for the solution; do not vote for the problem.
