I wish to inform the House that on 22 November 2013 I received a letter from the Hon. Kevin Michael Rudd resigning his seat as the member for the electoral division of Griffith. Consideration is being given to possible dates for the by-election, and I will inform the House in due course of the dates I have fixed for it.
