It gives me great pleasure to support my colleagues on this private member’s motion tonight because I do not mind a bit of fun, quite frankly. I thought this was going to be a rather dry debate but here we have all manner of parties, and a ring-in, trying to prove who it was who did not introduce the risk of destroying Australia’s clean banana image.
