Mr Speaker, this is slightly unusual but, on indulgence, I want to add my remarks to those you made just before to the visiting parliamentary delegation from Singapore led by the Speaker. Singapore and Australia share many interests. We have an excellent relationship with the republic and, most recently, I was with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the APEC meeting. APEC will be hosted next year in Singapore, and that is my particular interest in extending my good wishes to the parliamentary delegation on their visit and to underline the importance which Australia attaches to the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
