Ministerial Arrangements

I inform the House that the Treasurer will be absent from question time this week as he is attending meetings with the US economic policymakers in advance of the leaders meeting later in the week in Washington DC. The Minister for Finance and Deregulation will answer questions on his behalf. Further, the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs will be absent from question time this week as he is attending the Armistice Day commemoration to mark the 90th anniversary of the end of the First World War in Ypres in Belgium. The Minister for Defence will answer questions on his behalf. The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts will be absent from question time today as he is delivering the opening address to the Coral Triangle Initiative conference in Townsville. The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry will answer questions on his behalf. The Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs will be absent today. The Minister for Housing and Minister for the Status of Women will answer questions on her behalf.
