My question is addressed to the Minister for Health and Ageing. Would the minister update the House how the Howard government’s Medicare safety net is helping people with the cost of medical treatment, especially in my electorate of Dobell? Is the minister aware of any policies to cut Medicare expenditure and what is the government’s response?
