Honourable Senators, it is with deep regret that I inform the Senate of the death on 20 March this year of the Rt Hon. John Malcolm Fraser, AC, CH, a member of the House of Representatives for the division of Wannon, Victoria, from 1955 until 1983 and Prime Minister of Australia from 1975 until 1983. I call on the Leader of the Government in the Senate.
