One year ago tomorrow, Britt Lapthorne went missing. The reason I am introducing this bill today is that a year has passed. I just want to say that our thoughts should be with Britt Lapthorne’s parents, who are over in Croatia today. If it was anyone else’s kid, we would all feel the same thing. When someone goes missing, we certainly want all the help we can get. I just hope that this bill can be supported by both sides of the chamber.
