My question is to the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator Carr. Will the minister update the Senate on the implementation of the government’s new Australian Laureate Fellowships scheme? How does it further the objectives outlined in the government’s innovation strategy ‘Powering ideas’? How does the scheme fit into the government’s broader education revolution? How will it contribute to Australia’s long-term prosperity and the wellbeing of Australian families and communities?
