Recently I had the privilege of visiting Goodstart early childhood centre in Myaree, where I had a chance to engage with a young parent, who was brimming with joy and gratitude due to the groundbreaking cheaper child care policy driven by our Labor government. The cheaper child care policy is not merely a program; it is a lifeline for hard-working parents striving to provide a better life for their children while navigating the challenges of our economy. It has been heartwarming to witness firsthand how this policy has enabled parents to re-enter the workforce knowing that quality child care is not a financial burden but an accessible support system. In these times of economic uncertainty, when the cost of the living weighs heavily on the shoulders of many families, this policy gives hope.

However, it isn't just about affordable child care. It is about empowering parents to achieve their professional and personal goals while ensuring their children receive the best care and education. Our government is dedicated to building a brighter future for all Australians, one where parents can work, children can thrive, and families can prosper.
