I inform the House of the death on 18 June 2017 of former Senator Mary Shirley Walters. Shirley Walters, as we knew her, represented the state of Tasmania from 1975 until 1993. As a mark of respect to the memory of Shirley Walters I invite all present to stand in their places.

Honourable members having stood in their places

I thank the House.
