At the request of Senator Henderson, I move:

That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Communications, by no later than midday on 21 October 2026:

(a) a copy of all internal correspondence between Australian Broadcasting Corporation personnel, sent or received during the period of 12 July to 12 August 2026 (including letters, emails and messages) concerning the reference to Mrs Gina Rinehart in the Race Around the World program, initially broadcast on 12 July 2026 (the program); and

(b) a copy of all internal correspondence, during the period of 12 July to 12 August 2026 (including letters, emails and messages) sent to or received from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Ombudsman concerning the investigation of the program.

The question is that general business notice of motion No. 804, standing in the name of Senator Henderson, be agreed to.
