That the Senate directs the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee to hold a public hearing at 5 pm on 3 September 2025, of not less than two hours, for the purposes of hearing from officials from the Department of Home Affairs regarding the details of the Home Affairs Legislation Amendment (2025 Measures No. 1) Bill 2025.
