On behalf of Senator Rice, the Chair of the Environment and Communications References Committee, I present a progress report of the Environment and Communications References Committee on the rehabilitation of mining and resources projects. I move:

That the Senate adopt the recommendation contained in the progress report to extend the time for the presentation of the report of the committee to the first sitting Wednesday of 2019.
