I indicate to the Senate that these bills are being introduced together. After debate on the motion for the second reading has been adjourned, I will be moving a motion to have the bills listed separately on the Notice Paper. I move:

That the following bills be introduced: A Bill for an Act to amend the Privacy Act 1988, and for related purposes. Privacy Amendment (Re-identification Offence) Bill 2016; and a Bill for an Act to apply the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 to various Commonwealth Acts, and for related purposes. Regulatory Powers (Standardisation Reform) Bill 2016.
