My question is to the Minister representing the Prime Minister, Senator Brandis. Has the Prime Minister sought advice regarding the current conflict between Australia's first and second law officers from either the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet or the Attorney-General?

Has the Prime Minister discussed the conflict between the Attorney-General and the Solicitor-General with the Solicitor-General, and has the Prime Minister expressed his confidence in the Solicitor-General?
