by leave—I want to make a comment about documents that were presented in the chamber this morning by Senator Cash in response to the Senate order for the production of documents. We have had a short time to look at the documents and we have found that they are all available on the public record. They are transcripts that are on the public record. We point out that we do believe this is not in the spirit of the presentation of a response to a Senate order for the production of documents. We expected something more than we can get on the internet or in some other way. We are also concerned that we had no warning that these documents were to be presented this morning. I understand it is standard practice that when documents come into the chamber in response to an order that we are advised of that. It is an important thing to put on the record. Senator Cash, you moved very quickly out of the chamber this morning so I had no time to catch you at that time. I thank the indulgence of the Senate for allowing me to make that statement.
