The President has received a message from the House of Representatives transmitting for concurrence a resolution proposing the formation of the Joint Select Committee on Constitutional Recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Copies of the message have been circulated in the chamber.
The House of Representatives message read as follows—
