asked the Minister representing the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, upon notice, on 19 April 2012:

(1) Who sits on the High Level Officials Group in relation to workplace relations.

(2) Who is the chair.

(3) How many meetings have taken place.

The Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question

(1) The High Level Officials' Group is made up of workplace relations senior officials from the Commonwealth, states and territories, with relevant subject matter experts attending as needed. The current membership list is attached.

(2) The High Level Officials' Group is chaired by the Commonwealth, specifically, the Group Manager, Workplace Relations Policy Group, Department of Education, Employment and Workpacle Relations.

(3) Since February 2008, there have been 25 meetings of the High Level Officials' Group.
