At the request of the Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Joint Committe on Law Enforcement, Senator Nash, I move:

That the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Law Enforcement be authorised to hold a private meeting otherwise than in accordance with stand­ing order 33(1), including a private briefing, during the sitting of the Senate on 9 May 2012, from 5.30 pm to 7 pm.
