I seek leave to make a short statement before withdrawing business of the Senate notice of motion No. 1 standing in my name for today.

For the information of senators, I gave notice yesterday for the disallowance of the entire set of the Aviation Transport Security Amendment Regulations. I will be moving that motion this afternoon. The new motion supersedes the narrower version I gave notice of last week, so I now withdraw that notice.
