Climate Change

by leave—I move the motion as amended:

That the Senate—

(a)
agrees that:
(i)
scientific evidence supports a link between human activity and climate change, and
(ii)
urgent action is required to reduce greenhouse gas emissions globally; and
(b)
notes that the Stern report suggests the costs to the economy and to the environment of inaction are significantly greater than the short-term cost of action.
