Religious Intolerance and Racial Discrimination
by leave—I, and also on behalf of Senator Mason, move the motion as amended:
That the Senate—
- notes, with deep concern, the existence of religious intolerance and racial discrimination in Australia and the threat which this poses to the cohesion of Australian society;
- condemns all manifestations of racism wherever they occur; and
- expresses its unequivocal condemnation of all forms of racial and ethnic hatred, persecution and discrimination.
Question agreed to.
