The Minister for Defence has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question:
Approved funding for the Future Submarines Program to date is as follows:
December 2008—$4.670 million;
October 2009—$10.840 million; and
June 2010—$4.026 million.
Out turned to a February 2011 price basis the total approved funding is $19.522 million.
