In response to a question from Senator Sherry yesterday, the Minister for Revenue and Assistant Treasurer has provided some additional information, and it is this: it is not possible to give the revenue collected for 2005-06 on end benefits taxes as it will not be known until some time after 30 June 2006. The estimated impact on the fiscal balance of the proposals is included in the document A plan to simplify and streamline superannuationthat is a booklet that I have in my hand.
