My question is to the Prime Minister. Yesterday, in question time, the Prime Minister described a series of vile posts about conservative women by his close friend Rhys Muldoon as 'completely unacceptable'. Today, the Prime Minister was forced to sack his grubby mate as an official Australia Day ambassador. Can the Prime Minister give us a straight answer? What involvement did he have in Mr Muldoon's appointment as a Labor adviser, and did he provide Mr Muldoon with a reference for his Australia Day role?

On the first part of that question, none. On the second part, his Australia Day role began under the former coalition government, federal and state, and his appointment had zero to do with me.
