After four years of the Albanese government, Australians are worse off and our nation is heading in the wrong direction, with the standard of living in freefall. The heart of the problem, why Australians are worse off, is very simple: we're being led by a prime minister who simply can't tell the truth. This prime minister can't be trusted to tell the truth in any circumstances, because the Prime Minister told Australians not once, not twice, but 50 times that he wouldn't change capital gains tax, negative gearing or the treatment of trusts. We all remember when the Prime Minister fell off the stage and said, 'Oh no, I stepped back one step; I didn't fall off the stage.'

Australians are still waiting for the $275 reduction in their power bills that the Prime Minister promised 97 times. This is a prime minister who said, 'I won't BS people,' but in question time we cannot get a straight answer out of this prime minister to any question. The Prime Minister told Australians, 'My word is my bond.' Remember that? Australians just want to know: when will this prime minister stop breaking promises and just tell the truth for once?
