Questions without Notice
Taxation
2:55 pm
Ben Small (Forrest, Liberal Party, Shadow Assistant Minister for Electoral Matters) | Link to this | Hansard source
My question is to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has said, time and time again, that he has changed his position on his toxic taxes, yet those taxes on savings, investments, housing and businesses continue to rise. Will the Prime Minister just cut to the chase and, like Julia Gillard before him, admit he's another Labor liar on taxes?

Order! I'll deal with this. The Leader of the House?
Mr Tony Burke (Watson, Australian Labor Party, Leader of the House) | Link to this | Hansard source
Speaker, you've put every member on notice for a long time on that issue.
Milton Dick (Speaker) | Link to this | Hansard source
Yes. The Leader of the Opposition has upheld the standards of the House twice today, so I'm going to ask the member for Forrest to do the same, to withdraw.

I withdraw.

And leave the chamber under 94(a).
The membe r for Forrest then left the chamber.
We're moving to the next question. We're not having that disruption for question time.
