I have to report to the House that on 4 June 2026 I received advice from the Chief Opposition Whip nominating Ms Aldred and Ms Price to be members of the Select Committee on Cyber Security for Small to Medium Sized Businesses and Organisations.

I also have to report to the House that on 5 June 2026 I received advice from the Chief Government Whip nominating Mr Gregg to be a member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights in place of Dr Freelander. In accordance with standing order 229B, as the House was not expected to sit for several weeks, the appointment became effective on those dates. I now call the minister to move to resolve the memberships of those committees.
