My question is to the Prime Minister. I refer to his minister's refusal to answer questions yesterday and today about Geoffrey Watson's report into the CFMEU-Labor cartel of corruption. Given the Prime Minister has refused to write to the National Anti-Corruption Commission, can the Prime Minister explain what steps he has taken to satisfy himself that not a single hard-earned taxpayers' dollar from the Commonwealth has been misused?

I want to address the part of the question that goes to the NACC. The NACC is independent. That is how it has been established. They can look at whatever they want to look at, they can refer and do whatever inquiries they want and they should be allowed to do so without political interference.

The Prime Minister has concluded his answer. The member for Goldstein has asked his question. The question has been answered.
