I'm getting in a little bit early to share the love for Valentine's Day today.

Labor is red, the Liberals are blue,

Teal and Green are colours too.

The Greens vote 'no' to housing and tax cuts,

Pathetic excuses full of 'ifs' and 'buts',

While Liberals secretly opposed WA's GST

The member for Dickson it sure seems to be.

The opposition leader always says no,

And now the member for Cook has to go.

While Nemesis streams on ABC iView,

The Liberals tell us who hates who.

A wasted decade—climate, integrity and more—

Even though PM Morrison had a secret portfolio or four.

Too many drinks from a 'back in black' mug,

You'll fall over a pot plant in need of a hug.

Will this frontbencher survive? I won't take a punt,

But there are many Nationals who want to get to the front.

Now, the opposition leader is sometimes too smug,

While Malcolm Turnbull simply says thug.

And now stage three we have to repair;

The Liberals said no but then voted yeah.

Just playing politics with no care for taxpayers—

Not the teachers, the truckies, the nurses or bricklayers.

Maybe economics is not their strong suit;

They think a trillion of debt was an achievement, a hoot.

'Pay more tax' is the coalition way.

Cost of living relief? They still say nay.

They stand back and criticise every important decision

While offering nothing but fear and division.

The Albanese government introduces 244 bills.

While the opposition say 'no' just for thrills.

'No' to cheaper energy and closing loopholes too.

What about cheaper medicines? 'No, that'll never do.'

Labor built Medicare, and now it turns 40.

Australia says 'thank you' to Hawkey.

Strengthening Medicare—Labor's aspiration, of course.

While Mr Dutton spearheaded a Medicare privatisation task force.

Voted the worst health minister in 35 years.

Another Nemesis PM is the worst of our fears.

But, for Valentine's Day, to the people of Perth.

I love representing you in the best country on earth.
