My question is to the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs. How many hardcore criminals released from detention got a letter from the Department of Home Affairs which said they were being released as an unlawful noncitizen?

Once again, I thank the shadow minister for asking a question of me. It's a pretty similar one and the answer will be similar.

I'll say again that complying with the orders of the court is not optional. We have to give effect to the decision that was made. All of the 83 releases required by the decision of the court are people who are on bridging visas with appropriate conditions.
