I move:

That the amendment be agreed to.

This amendment, moved by Senator Steele-John in the other place, outlines a range of information arising from the National Occupational Respiratory Disease Registry to be reported by the Chief Medical Officer. This includes aggregate information and statistics about the occupation, the main job task, the industry and the state of residence of diagnosed individuals at the time they were exposed to respiratory disease causing agents. This aligns with the data that our government had intended to report on, so we are happy to support this amendment, which received cross-party support in the Senate. I commend the National Occupational Respiratory Disease Registry Bill 2023 and the amendment to the House.

Question agreed to.
