Mr Speaker, in relation to the thanks about the length of the sitting hours that we have just gone through, I wanted to raise my concern that, only one day after the delivery of the statement acknowledging the Jenkins review recommendations, such a lengthy sitting was in direct contradiction to the recommendation that a review of the hours of operation to ensure a safe work place of parliament should occur. I would ask that that be noted, because I strongly believe it was disrespectful to all staff in Parliament House to insist upon sitting to 4.40 in the morning.

The member for Warringah's concerns are noted. I'm not sure what I can do about that, other than to say your concerns are noted and you might want to take that up with others other than me.
