LLS () (): My question is to the Prime Minister. Will the Prime Minister support Labor's plan to cut taxes on electric vehicles, making them cheaper for Australian families?

I am asked about our policy on electric vehicles.

Members on my left! The minister was about six seconds in. Can I just listen to him for a sec?

Our policy is to facilitate the choices of all Australians. With all technologies, as the cost comes down, they get deployed—and we encourage the global manufacturers of electric vehicles to keep driving those costs down. Our policy is focused on making sure that the infrastructure is in place to support the choices of all Australians. We are making significant investment in that infrastructure. Indeed, through round 1 of the Future Fuels Fund we are providing $25 million to ARENA to support more than 400 new charging stations. We are facilitating the choice of Australians. Those opposite think they know better. They want to make the choices for Australians.
