My question is to the Prime Minister. Why did the Department of Finance ask for the scheduled cleaning of the Defence Minister's office to be brought forward to a Saturday, the day Brittany Higgins was found?

I am not aware of any instructions that were provided by any ministers or anyone else in relation to that matter. That was an administrative matter determined by the department. If there is any other suggestion that has been made then I think that's a very serious suggestion to have been made. That is a matter that was dealt with by officials of the Department of Finance. That's what I'm advised.
