I thank members for contributing to the debate on the Passenger Movement Charge Amendment (Timor Sea Maritime Boundaries Treaty) Bill 2019, which complements a range of other measures to give effect to the treaty. This package of bills is again another step in the great relationship between Australia and Timor-Leste.

Question agreed to.

Bill read a second time.

What are House debates?

Debates in the House of Representatives are an opportunity for members from all parties to scrutinise government legislation and raise important local, national or topical issues.
