I want to inform the House today of how pleased I was to see Matthew Guy's slogan for the Victorian state election, 'Take Back Control'. It's a timely reminder for locals in the electorate of Lalor of the do-nothing Napthine-Baillieu government, who for four years did not plan one school in our growth area—not one school did they plan. They took away all of the supports for our local public school principals. In contrast, we've got the Daniel Andrews, who this morning made the fabulous commitment to put mental health professionals in every public school in our state. I can't clap loud enough or applaud loud enough that announcement today.

Like the member for Gellibrand, I want to wish the local candidates in our state election the best of luck. That includes the Treasurer, Tim Pallas, who is delivering $1.8 billion for our local arterial roads. Joining him is Jill Hennessy, the Minister for Health, who recently opened the $80 million development of our local hospital, and Sarah Connolly, first-time Labor candidate for Tarneit, who is out there every day working hard, knocking on doors and talking to locals about what they need. I know that our state members and candidates are ready to go against Matthew Guy and his obsession with control.
