Sat Sri Akaal to my Sikh community in Pakenham and La Trobe. A few weeks back, I attended an event organised by the Sikh community in Pakenham. I'm very thankful to the organisers who took the initiative to organise this incredible event where all communities came forward, regardless of race, religion or colour. I would like to thank the Pakenham Sikh community, Gurudwara Baba Budha Sahib ji, the sports club in Pakenham and their members for organising the second jorh Mela. I'd like to acknowledge all the members of the trust, Gurudwara Baba Budha Sahib ji, Hardev Singh, Jagtar Singh, Balrajwinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Mohanjit Singh, Lakhveer Singh, Jagdev Singh, Ranjit Singh, Satnam Singh, Sandeep Singh, Onkar Singh, Paramjit Singh, and especially Monty Singh, who arranged the event. I would also like to thank all the sewadars who worked tirelessly to make this an incredible success—the back bone of the Gurudwara Baba Budha Sahib ji. I want to celebrate the contribution that the Punjabi community, the Sikh community, has made in Australia and especially in the seat of La Trobe. You're an amazing group of people. Thank you for your hospitality and especially the way you welcome all families to your event and into your culture.
