My question is to the Minister representing the Attorney-General. Did the Attorney-General provide the Solicitor-General with a copy of the Australian Citizenship Amendment (Allegiance to Australia) Bill, as presented to parliament, before he advised the intelligence committee 'that the government had received advice from the Solicitor-General that, in his opinion, there is a good prospect that a majority of the High Court would reject a constitutional challenge'?

As I said in answer to the shadow Attorney-General's earlier question, I am happy to seek the advice of the first law officer and return to the parliament at the earliest available opportunity.
