I have received advice from the Honourable Prime Minister that in accordance with the provisions of the Intelligence Services Act 2001 he has nominated Mr Wood to be a member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security, in place of Mr Tehan, whose position became vacant upon his appointment to the ministry.
