I have received advice from the Chief Government Whip that he has nominated Mrs BK Bishop to be a member of the Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories in place of Mrs Griggs.

I ask leave of the House to move a motion for the appointment of a member to the Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories.

That Mrs Griggs be discharged from the Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories and that, in her place, Mrs B. K. Bishop be appointed a member of the committee.
