House debates Questions to the Speaker
Standing Order 94(a)
Anthony Albanese Grayndler, Australian Labor Party, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure and Transport
3:12 pm
I have a question to you, Madam Speaker. In the context of this, it is 12 months since this parliament, the 44th Parliament, started meeting. Is the Speaker aware that you are now the record holder, having excluded more members of this chamber than any previous Speaker since Federation, now that you today passed the 250 mark?
Mrs Bronwyn Bishop Speaker

I am perfectly well aware of what occurs in this chamber. I would point out to the Leader of the Opposition that, if there were not disorderly conduct, it would not be necessary.
