I have received a message from the Senate informing the House that the Senate has considered message No. 307 of the House and concurs with the resolution of appointment of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights; and, in accordance with the Human Rights (Parliamentary Scrutiny) Act 2011, Senators Stephens and Thistlethwaite have been appointed members of the committee.
