My question is to the Prime Minister. I refer the Prime Minister to the member for Warringah’s Assisting the Victims of International Terrorism Bill 2009, which seeks to provide help to Australian victims of overseas terrorism. I further refer the Prime Minister to his promise to consult on ways to provide assistance to the victims of terrorism, particularly the Newcastle victims of the Bali bombing. When will the Prime Minister undertake the consultations as promised?

I thank the honourable member for his question and the spirit in which it was asked. I cannot give him a detailed answer to that here in the parliament, but I will seek to give him an answer to that by the end of this week.
